Job Listing - Horseback Riding Instructor


Bridle Ranch is a small company with an awesome work environment and company culture. Everyone is dedicated to helping people grow through playing and working with horses. At this point, we are looking to grow our little company, both in the number of employees and the number of customers.


Our Riding Instructor position is perfect for somebody who wants the comfort of a small company, the challenge of helping it grow, and some control as to their hours each week. Applicants must have experience with riding horses, though competition experience is not required.

We're looking for somebody who is 19 or older, eager to learn, willing to work within a specific teaching and training system, and who is excited to help students learn and grow. This person must be physically healthy and able to work outside in all types of weather. At least a year's commitment is preferred.

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2:00-6:00pm
Saturdays: 10:00am-2:00pm


Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 2:00-8:00pm

**Hours are approximate and subject to change based on the time of year and number of current clients**


  • Duties:

    • Teach lessons and experiences (individual and group)
    • Greet people as they come in
    • Plan lessons appropriate to riders' level and age
    • Get horses ready for lessons
    • Assess horses' general well-being
    • Accept money and give receipts
    • Help riders through lessons
    • Accurately assess riders' progress
    • Consistently update paperwork on students
    • Help people have fun!!!

  • Pasture Maintenance:
    • Clean up manure, rocks, etc. (Daily)
    • Clean out water bucket/troughs (weekly)
    • Fence maintenance/building (occasional)

  • Horse Care:

    • Feeding, watering, exercise

    • Training Maintenance

  • Learning and Growth:

    • Ground work practice

    • Riding practice

    • Going through Parelli (or other Natural Horsemanship) program
